DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

FRIDAY, JULY 10, 2009

In the morning, the President will attend a working breakfast and a meeting of the leaders of the G-8, participating African countries (Angola, Algeria, Nigeria, and Senegal), and six international organizations (United Nations, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, World Trade Organization, International Energy Agency, and Organiation for Economic Cooperation and Development).

In the afternoon, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with South African President Jacob Zuma. There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting.

Later, the President will hold a press conference. This is open press.

The President will then travel to Rome, where he will meet with Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone at the Vatican. There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting. The President will then attend a bilateral meeting with Pope Benedeict XVI. There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting. Following the meeting, the First Family will have an audience with the Pope. There will be a pool spray.

In the evening, the President and the First Lady will depart Italy and travel to Accra, Ghana. The arrival at Kotoka International Airport is open press.
