DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

THURSDAY, JULY 9, 2009

In the morning, the President will attend a bilateral meeting with President Lula of Brazil. There will be a pool pray at the top of the meeting.

Later in the morning, the President will attend a meeting of the leaders of G-8, Brazil, China, India, Mexico South Africa, and Egypt. There will be a G-8 pool spray. Following the meeting of leaders, the President will attend a working lunch of the leaders of the G-8, +5, Egypt, and six international organizations (United Nations, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, World Trade Organization, International Energy Agency, and Organiation for Economic Cooperation and Development). The lunch is closed press. In the afternoon, the President will attend a meeting with representatives of the Junior 8. There will be a G-8 pool spray. The President will also attend a discussions on world trade and a Major Economies Forum discussion on the environment. There will be G-8 pool sprays of both discussions. Following the MEF discussion, the President will deliver a brief statment to the press. This is open press.

In the evening, the President will attend a working dinner hosted by Italian President Giorgio Napolitano. The dinner is closed press.
