DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
MONDAY, JULY 6, 2009
The President and the First Lady will arrive in Moscow in the afternoon. The arrival at Moscow Airport is open press. The President will then participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Russian Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The ceremony has expanded pool coverage.
The President will then meet privately with President Dmitry Medvedev at the Kremlin. There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting. President Obama and President Medvedev will then hold a working meeting. There will be a pool spray at the top.
In the evening, President Obama and President Medvedev will hold a joint press conference at the Kremlin. This event is open press.
Later, the President and the First Lady will meet with U.S. Embassy personnel at the U.S. Embassy. This is closed press.
The President and the First Lady will have dinner with President Medvedev and Lady Sletvana Medvedeva at the Gorkiy. The dinner is closed press.
