DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing, the Economic Daily Briefing, and meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.
Later, the President will deliver brief remarks on health care reform in the Diplomatic Reception Room. The remarks are pooled press.
In the afternoon, the President will meet with Democratic members of the House Energy & Commerce Committee in the Roosevelt Room. He will also meet with Secretary of Defense Robert Gates in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.
In the evening, the President and First Lady will host an event celebrating country music at the White House. Performers include Charley Pride, Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss and Union Station. The President will deliver brief remarks. The remarks are pooled press.
