DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
TUESDAY, JUNE 16, 2009
In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. These briefings are closed press.
Later, the President will hold a one-on-one meeting with President Lee Myung-bak of the Republic of Korea in the Oval Office. They will then hold an expanded meeting in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.
Following the meetings, President Obama and President Lee will hold a joint press availability in the Rose Garden. This event is open press, but all riser positions have been allocated.
President Obama and President Lee will then attend a working lunch in the Old Family Dining Room. This lunch is closed press.
In the afternoon, the President will meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. Later, the President and the Vice President will meet with Secretary of Defense Robert Gates in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.
Also tomorrow, the Administration will release an interagency report on the impact of climate change at 1:30PM EDT in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. Due to space limitations, an RSVP is required. Please email media_affairs@who.eop.gov by 9:00AM EDT Tuesday to attend.
