WASHINGTON--President Obama has talked a lot on the campaign trail about fathers taking responsibility--and will reinforce the message at a White House Friday Fathers Day event that has been planned, pegged to the upcoming Fathers Day.

for some to speak of fathers, it's like the pope speaking on sex.
I know Barack Obama, Sr. is not too well loved, but think people ought to read this article from The Boston Globe. Found it incredibly insightful and well-rounded.
Tom Mboya, mentioned in the article, is the reason Barack Obama, Sr. was able to attend the University of Hawaii and therefore directly responsible for Pres. Obama's very existence.
This July 5th makes the 40th anniversary of Tom Mboya's assassination (an event Pres. Obama's father witness and ultimately lead to his downfall). Pres. Obama has referred to Tom Mboya as his godfather and his assassination is major event for the Luo tribe of which the Obamas are members.
One wonders what Pres. Obama will do to commenmorate the Mboya's assassination anniversary.
My own bet is nothing (Axe and Rahm will say it won't poll well), but I hope he does...
