Tammy Haddad, the chronicler of Washington's who's who of the who's who, launched WHCInsider.com, with a big run-up to Saturday's celebrity packed White House Correspondents Association dinner.
Haddad, former television producer now president of Haddad Media, is partnering with David Adler, CEO of BizBash Media in what is being called a "micro-niche" web site.
"We think the intersection of the White House and press is undercovered," Haddad said. "So we will cover the press who cover the world's most important address. They are part of the story and we are showing how."
A standing feature of the site will be live coverage of Robert Gibbs daily press briefings.
Haddad hosts an annual pre-dinner garden brunch at her Washington home.
WHCInsider.com will live on after the after parties.
Said Haddad, "We plan to continue because we are covering news being made every day."
