President Obama official schedule and guidance, May 20, 2009. Meets with economic advisory board

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
WEDNESDAY, MAY 20, 2009

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. These briefings are closed press.

Later, the President will attend the first quarterly meeting of the President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board in the Roosevelt Room. The focus of the meeting will be on energy and green jobs and the board will provide recommendations on how to enhance the strength and competitiveness of the nation's economy through the creation of a comprehensive energy plan that will generate millions of clean energy jobs. There will be a pool spray during the President's introductory remarks. The entire meeting will have print poolers present and will also be streamed live on WhiteHouse.gov. Following the meeting, PERAB members will drop by the stakeout location at approximately 11:00AM EDT.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press. The President will later participate in a credentialing ceremony for foreign ambassadors in the Oval Office. This is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will sign the Helping Families Save Their Homes Act and the Fraud Enforcement and Recovery Act in the East Room. This event is open press.

The President will call the crew of the Space Shuttle Atlantis in the Oval Office. This is closed press.

In the evening, the President and First Lady will host a reception for a group of bipartisan members of the House and their guests in the Blue Room. This event is closed press.
