DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
FRIDAY, MAY 8, 2009
In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing, the Economic Daily Briefing, and meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.
Later in the morning, the President will deliver remarks on job creation and job training in room 350 in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. This event will be pooled for TV and open to correspondents.
In the afternoon, the President will meet with Senator Bob Casey in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
Also tomorrow, Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis will join experts from the Department of Homeland Security and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for a Spanish-language town hall meeting to listen to the community's concerns and inform the public about the government's efforts to control the impact of the H1N1 virus. The town hall meeting will be held in room 450 of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and will be webcast LIVE on www.WhiteHouse.gov.
