WASHINGTON--President Obama's promises scorecard.

One thing I'd like to see in the next hundred days is more of an emphasis on soft power. I think that Obama should use more foreign aid for strategic and humanitarian purposes to make and keep friends overseas.
The Borgen Project has good info on the estimated cost of ending global poverty:

$30 billion: Annual shortfall to end world hunger.

$550 billion: U.S. Defense budget.
