DAILY GUIDANCE FOR THE VICE PRESIDENT
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29, 2009
In the morning, the President, the Vice President, and Senator Arlen Specter
will address the media in the Diplomatic Room. This event is pooled press.
The Vice President will then host conference calls with governors and mayors to
discuss the implementation of the Recovery Act. These calls are closed press.
In the afternoon, the Vice President will hold a teleconference with regional
reporters to discuss the progress the country has made over the first 100 days
and the hard work that lies ahead.
The rest of the day the Vice President will be in private meetings.
Dr. Jill Biden
Dr. Biden will join the First Lady and 160 Congressional spouses and children to
volunteer at the Capital Area Food Bank. The group will assemble bags of food to
feed 1,000 students who participate in the Food for Kids program. This 2:00 PM
event will be pooled press.
