NPR has an interesting report on First Lady Michelle Obama's hair--and the impact her choice of style has on other black women.

TO TALK ABOUT THE FIRST LADY'S HAIR, SHOWS THAT
SOME PEOPLE NEED TO GET A HOBBY OR JOIN A CLUB,
HER HAIR SHOULDN'T BE A PRIORITY IN SOMEONE'S
LIFE!
SHE IS A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN AND I THINK SHE HAS A
MAN!
LET US ALL ELEVATE OUR THINKING AND LEAD BY
EXAMPLE!
EITHER YOU ARE APART OF THE PROBLEM OR A SOLUTION
TO THE PROBLEM, GET ON THE LATTER!

Here in the heartland, we're seeing more 'fros again--and I think that's fantastic. I also think it's more REAL. Not all white women can let their hair 'go natural' and look 'put together'--unless they cut it very very short and plain.
What's wrong with EVERYONE being as plain and real as possible during an economic downturn?
Particularly when it costs so much.
Americans need to save money and try helping one another. Instead of helping themselves to the top of the heap of corporate America or corporate America's political fund-raising and the careers it brings.

Phil--did you hear the piece?

IF THIS WAS THE SIXTY'S YOU MIGHT SEE HER IN A
FRO, BUT GUESS WHAT IT IS THE 21ST CENTURY, SHE
AIN'T FALLING FALL FOR THE OKIE-DOKE AND NEITHER
AM I, SHE IS A PROFESSIONAL, SO GET USE TO IT!
THE OBAMA'S ARE SMART AND BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE,
THEY ARE ROLE MODELS, AND I AM ON THEIR TEAM,
SOME OF YOU ARE STUCK IN A MODE OF IGNORANCE, GET
OUT OF IT, FAST!
WHY WOULD A LADY THAT REPRESENTS A COUNTRY,
BE THINKING ABOUT SAVING MONEY WHEN IT COMES TO
HER LOOKS, SHE REPRESENTS THE COUNTRY AND IS NOT
THIS COUNTRY THE BEACON THAT ALL COUNTRIES WANT
TO BE LIKE, STOP THE IGNORANCE NOW AND ELEVATE
YOUR THINKING!
HOW MANY BLACK FOLKS ARE IN THE HEARTLAND?

nope, he didn't hear it...lol. and you know he can't read...lol

PHIL YOU IDIOT!
