lovely.First Lady Michelle Obama (still can not believe I am writing that) has gracefully made this position her own. A garden is a great family enterprise and turns the focus back on healthy food instead of fast food. (Come to think of it there is no slower food.) It is therapeutic and gives a great source of pride for a family to produce produce together. It reminded me of watching inner city children milk a cow for the first time. Most of them did not really understand where milk comes from. I bet even my daughter may eat a carrot she helped grow. I am sure she does not know a carrot is a root. Economically it's a good endevor also. Vegtables have become more expensive, and farming is going to be one of the hardest hit job markets. What would you call today's version of the "Victory" garden. An anti-depression garden? (OK I did not say "Prozac Garden") I guess we all could do with a Kitchen Garden.

I'm writing you this e-mail in plain, simple language.
This e-mail is not about me, it is not about politics it is about both of you. How you have brought us our of the "dark ages". We are basking in the sun. The reason I'm writing however, is to tell you we LOVE you. We Care about you. We, the people, SUPPORT you. We Trust you. The point of this letter is to ask you, to plead with you, to get REST; not to work too hard, to pace yourselves for your own sakes not ours. To take time off for JOY. Please, do plently of FUN, SPONTANEOUS, LIFE-GIVING activities. Lastly, please be SAFE.
My hopes are you will respond "YES WE CAN" to all of the above.
