DAILY GUIDANCE FOR FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA
Thursday, March 5, 2009: Mrs. Obama will visit Miriam's Kitchen, a local non-profit organization that provides healthy, nutritious meals to the homeless in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Obama will highlight the need to support food banks and soup kitchens around the country as demand for these services increases. This event, scheduled for lunchtime, will be pooled press.

Our First Lady rocks!
Dear First Lady Michelle Obama,
Your work with soup kitchens is such a positive and active project for a First Lady to perform. We are very lucky to have you. Maybe you would be interested in this also.
I am a published poet who reads her poetry to many people and organizations, and school children. Since April is National Poetry Month I wondered if you would like to have a poetry reading at the White House or even your daughters' school from my children's book, "Pumpkin Dancin'" or "Whispers of Poetry."
