Dover Group Hires Kathleen Strand as Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications

Former Communications Director for Hillary Clinton, Presidential Campaign Veteran Joins Full-Service Firm

The Dover Group (http://www.doverstrategygroup.com) announced today that Kathleen Strand, former Senior Communications Advisor to presidential candidate and United States Senator Hillary Clinton, will join the firm as Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications working out of the Dover Group's Chicago office.

"While working with her in Pennsylvania during the presidential primaries, it became obvious to me that she is one of the most talented communications professionals in the industry. Having served on presidential campaigns for former Minority Leader Richard A. Gephardt in 2003, Senator John Kerry in 2004 and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2007 and 2008, Strand brings with her strategic communications experience in 12 states, including key early and battleground states IA, NH, PA, OH, and IN, as well as IL and SD.

During Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign, Strand oversaw the communications operation in New Hampshire, which led to one of the most stunning comebacks in modern political history. She also oversaw Hillary Clinton's communications during the Democratic National Convention in 2008.

The Dover Group has offices in Kansas City, Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia.
