SEIU backs Sara Feigenholtz in 5th Congressional District!

State Rep. Sara Feigenholtz to receive endorsement of Illinois Council of the Service Employees International Union on Tuesday, Feb. 10th.

Feigenholtz (D-12th Illinois House District) has a proven record of strong advocacy for making healthcare available to uninsured women, children and families. She is one of 12 Democratic candidates seeking to replace Rahm Emanuel, who vacated this seat in the U.S. House of Representatives to become White House Chief of Staff.

The special primary election will be held on March 3rd and the general election will be held on April 7th.

Formal endorsement and interview opportunities:

WHEN: Noon on Tuesday, February 10th.

No wonder labor is on it's back - they can't even throw their support behind a guy (Tom Geoghegan) who's worked his whole adult life defending it. I don't understand?!?
