DURBIN AND ILLINOIS DELEGATION TO MEET WITH GOVERNOR QUINN TO DISCUSS JOB CREATION BILL
[WASHINGTON, D.C.] - U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and members of the Illinois Congressional Delegation will hold a media availability with the Governor of Illinois, Pat Quinn TOMORROW, February 3, 2009 at 3:45 PM ET after their meeting to discuss the impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 will have on Illinois. The Senate will begin debate today on the legislation which stands to save or create over 200,000 jobs across the State of Illinois by the end of 2010 and could bring $25 billion in federal funding to the state.
