DODD, BURRIS TO RECOGNIZE 100th ANNIVERSARY OF NAACP

Washington, DC--Senators Chris Dodd and Roland Burris will join Hilary Shelton, Director of the NAACP Washington Bureau and VP for Advocacy at a press conference today to recognize the 100th anniversary of the creation of the NAACP on Thursday. In January, Senator Dodd introduced a resolution celebrating the contributions that the NAACP has made throughout its history and recognizing its creation 100 years ago.
