My guess is that this will go all the way to the Supreme Court because I don't see that Blago and Burris are going to back down.
If it does go to the SC, Lynn, any predictions as to what their decision will be? I'm not a constitution expert, but I see them letting the appointment stand. What about you?
Thank you Lynn for keeping me up, so that when I comment on an issue, I will be well prepared, because on the Issue of United States Senator Roland Burris, the fact of the matter is this." What the Govenor did, he had a right to do it, by law, because the people who could have voted for a special election chose not to vote for one; secondly by law the United States Senate can't stop Senator Roland Burris from being seated in the SENATE; last but not least, the President will have to accept Roland being the Jr. Senator because on Jan.20, 2009, he will place his hand on the same bible that another President who was from Illinois used, and he will swear to up hold the laws of the constitution.

DEAR MS. SWEET: ON YOUR JUST COMPLETED LIVE INTERVIEW WITH MSNBC, IS IT ROLAND BURRIS WHO IS NOT RETURNING SEN. DICK DURBIN'S CALLS OR THE OTHER WAY AROUND? DOES ANYONE ELSE BELIEVE ROLAND BURRIS WILL ACTUALLY SHOW UP AND CRASH THE CAPITOL PARTIES AND TRY TO BE SEATED? AT HIS APPOINTMENT NEWS CONFERENCE WITH GOV. BLAGOJEVICH, ROLAND WAS GRINNING LIKE A "CHESSIE CAT". I THINK HE IS GOING TO ATTEMPT TO BE SEATED OR MAKE A SCENE TRYING. HE'S UP TO SOMETHING, JUST HAVE THE CAMERAS READY! THIS IS A MOVIE SCRIPT THAT IS WRITING ITSELF!
