I just chatted with Justin Herndon, one of the publicists who put together the media blitz for now former Gov. Blagojevich. The blitz did not prevent the Illinois State Senate from removing him from office on Thursday, but it did, Herndon told me, show his "personality" and people are interested in him.
While Blagojevich has nothing booked through the weekend, he may hit the shows again next week, Herndon said. Blagojevich still faces a federal criminal indictment on public corruption charges.
"There is a whole host of requests we have," Herndon said. He said it was more than news shows; the late night outlets are interested.

Blagojevich needs to stay out there and keep singing. This railroading of Blago was clearly done with the sole purpose of getting him off stage quickly thereby reducing embarrassing revelations about Obama administration co-conspirators caught on these tapes.
I predict Fitzgerald, who prevented Blago from calling witnesses and playing tapes of his choice at the impeachment hearings, will either not indict Blago at all, or craft an indictment dealing with issues that do not include the alledged attempt to sell the senate seat.
Those of us informed about the Rezco, Obama, Blago corruption nexus are hoping that Fitzgerald has not succeeded in his quest to protect Obama and cronies.
He's only working the jury pool for his criminal trial. Let me guess, um, he's innocent, the impeachment was unfair, he did nothing wrong, 8 billion women and children got kidney's and breast exams due to his health care programs, uh, raise taxes, the fix is in, people of IL elected me twice, he couldn't call witnesses, uh, blah, blah, blah. What kind of Q ratings is Blago pulling ? I can't believe any show would want him. I know I've had enough.

What a relief it is to realize that Blago is now a "Personality" and not a governor. It's easy to ignore a "Personaltiy", but often most difficult to ignore a governor who should have been governing, rather than living in fantasyland.
A new "media blitz"??? He will no doubt stumble and compound his errors into a longer prison term; fetching coffee for Bubba for a greater length of time.
History would make Blago a wonderful contestant on "What's My Line", (for those old enough to remember that quiz show). Can't you just hear them all trying to ask questions (and get snswers) that would give them some clue as to exactly 'what the guy does for a living'.
there's always a possibility that he could become a republican...and run with Palin, on a "no facts, all confusion" campaign. At least they could share a hairbrush on tour.
