Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich Hires Outside PR Firm

Rod Blagojevich in his dealings with the news media that are outside the scope of his job as governor, the Tampa-based PR/publicity firm announced today.

Blagojevich was arrested on federal corruption charges in December of last year. The Illinois House of Representatives voted earlier this month to impeach Blagojevich by a 114-1 vote, the first time such an action has been taken against a governor of Illinois. The Senate meets Monday to begin the process of ousting the governor.
