CAPPARELLI FILES CANDIDACY
CHICAGO, IL --- International businessman Cary Capparelli has filed a Statement of Candidacy for the Fifth Congressional District of Illinois seat to be vacated by Rahm Emanuel. Capparelli is the son of Ralph Capparelli. The elder Capparelli, who is retired, served in the Illinois House of Representatives for 34 years.

I have met Capparelli and he seems like a intelligent guy.
There are lots of people officially declared with the FEC in this race. An interesting dark horse candidate that I have worked with is peace activist Matt Reichel (www.mattreichel.us). With the fall of Blago and Jackson Jr to follow, the voters might move in the direction of an outsider with experience organizing at the grassroots level.
