3.3% charity and 1.5% charity, huh?

So much for tithing! I wonder how much they gave to the Red Cross or the Salvation Army in 2005 for the Katrina victims? Or maybe they went down and spent a week in New Orleans or Mississippi, working in the soup kitchens and handing out water?

Or maybe not. Maybe they spent their money investing in oil wells.

So much for people who talk the talk of Christian charity but don't walk the walk.

You dumb broad, CaroleB. Look how much your saviour's side kick gave in charity. .15%!!! Don't cast aspersions on someone's christianity. I am christian yet do not tithe but do give to charity. I even adopted 2 beautiful children from Russia.

Praise God for introducing us to Mrs. Palin while demons like you inflict your hate!!

They don't have to give a dime to charity if they don't want to! We pay thousands in taxes every year for welfare, social programs, etc., and we only give directly to people we know really need it!

John, where is the love of Christ in your response? Your response is as judgemental as CaroleB's. By the way, who are you referring to as giving 15%?

we pay taxes for imperialistic wars, while many americans wallow in poverty

To whom much is given much is required. If there were more people giving their time, talents and finances, we wouldn't have as many people wanting for the basics.
