David Axelrod says estimate of one million in Chicago for election night "is kind of a random number."

Obama top strategist David Axelrod, in Norfolk, Va. with Obama told me Tuesday, "I think a million is kind of a random number.

"We expect a good, supportive crowd and we expect it to be a happy occasion. Whatever the result, we don't expect trouble."

Mayor Daley had said that he expects some 1 million to flock to Grant Park to celebrate election night with Barack Obama
