As McCain Palin tie Obama to Ayers, Obama hits McCain on "Keating 5"

WASHINGTON--The McCain Palin campaign should know by now that once attacked, the Obama campaign swings back. With the McCain camp bringing up Barack Obama's connection with former terrorist now urban educator Bill Ayers--Obama is calling McCain "erratic" (code for age?) and recalling McCain's role in the Keating 5 savings and loan scandal--and linking it to the current economic crisis.

The Obama camp has produced a web McCain-Keating 5 documentary (plays at noon eastern today) and a web ad. McCain's involvement with Charles Keating was a low point of his political career.

Script for the Obama "erratic" spot

"Out of touch on the economy"

And John McCain? Erratic in a crisis. Out of touch on the economy.

I'm voting for McCain

In February this year, on Fox News' "Hannity and Colmes," Senate Eithics Committee lawyer Robert Bennett said, "First, I should tell your listeners I'm a registered Democrat, so I'm not on (McCain's) side of a lot of issues. But I investigated John McCain for a year and a half, at least, when I was special counsel to the Senate Ethics Committee in the Keating Five. ... And if there is one thing I am absolutely confident of, it is John McCain is an honest man. I recommended to the Senate Ethics Committee that he be cut out of the case, that there was no evidence against him."

Yep, Obama can nail him on the Keating Five- a Democrat scandal. But McCain can nail Obama on Rev. Wright. For twenty years, that's right, for twenty years Obama sat in that church and he didn't hear a thing. 20 years.

OBAMA '08 !!!

That's right Obama!! The audacity of the McCain camp to draw such an illogical nexus between Ayers and Obama! Grasping at straws much? The real questionable relationships are McCain and Keating and the dubious contributors to his elections...hmmmm...food for thought!! Nice try McCain/Palin!

I decided today that I will vote for McCain. I believe that he has depth of character. Obama is an empty suit, a mouth full of promises, and has associated with doubtful characters his entire career, beginning with his racist church.

If you really believe McCain has "depth of character" then you really should vote for him. The rest of the living are not obscured by the depicable manner in which he's conducted and dishonored himself as of late. I once highly respected the man, but he's now shameful and not even remotely reflective honorable!

It's the corruption, stupid. Ayers never killed ANYONE. Can't say that about McSame or Bush.
Ayers HELPED educator people. Can't say that about the navy fly boy who crashed his jet and got beat up by the people we ILLEGALLY, IMMORALLY harmed and killed by the MILLIONS.
So, McSame and his corrupt little attack dog need to shut up already about Ayers.
Actually, keep talking, dufus. The more you talk, the sillier you look

THE BIG QUESTION IS WHY IS FOX NEWS STILL BEING
WATCHED BY SO MANY INTELLIGENT AMERICANS!
REV. WRIGHT- OLD NEWS
BILL AYERS- OLD NEWS
JOHN MCCAIN - OLD NEWS
SARAH PALIN- CAN'T READ OR WRITE OR COUNT, OLD
NEWS!
BARACK OBAMA - HARVARD GRAD, GOOD NEWS!

If left-wing CBS News reports that John McCain was innocent, it's GOT to be true….

from CBS News, 3/24/2008, http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/03/24/politics/main3964240.shtml

"The investigation ended in early 1991 with a rebuke that McCain "exercised poor judgment in intervening with the regulators." But the Senate ethics committee also determined McCain's actions "were not improper nor attended with gross negligence.""

Nice try BO camp - but if this is the worst you can come up with on McCain, I think McCain is a very decent guy!! GO MCCAIN / PALIN!!!!!!
