Obama scoffs at McCain idea debate needs to be postponed because of economic crisis.

WASHINGTON--Barack Obama scoffed at the notion that the first presidential debate had to be cancelled because Obama and McCain may have to be on Capitol Hill working on the economic bailout package. "It is going to be part of the president's job to deal with more than one thing at once," Obama said at a press conference. The Obama campaign sent along a list of big news happening on other debates, going back to 1960.

CANCEL BECAUSE OF THE ECONOMIC CRISIS? That's a joke. I would better understand if it was canceled for Hurricane Ike or the Sox losing to the Twins but not to wiggle out for the 40 theives stealing 700 billion.

McCain's tactic is just as good as: Obama concedes bailout costs may force him to adjust plans
