I think he should have the debate with obama, because they really dont need him in Washington. His been saying how he wants to have town hall meetings with Obama and now his whimping out. Town hall meetings are nothing compared to a presidential debate has far his I,m concerned. All the town meetings are probably filled with republican voters anyway! I feel that McCain knows his going to lose against Obama in the debate because he does not have any sound solutions to America's issues. If he gets into office it will be like Bush never left. I say no more Republicans in the office, because we can see the great job there doing!
At the beginning of the election process, I did not like any of the candidates for president. I felt Obama was too inexperienced and McCain was not going to do much in office to help. They both seem to have similar plans but McCain had more experience. I knew that the only way to choose was to see first hand what they can do. The only problem is that during the election process there is nothing but talking and what candidates are going to do. OH BOY!! In my opinion, that is all talk, where is the proof? We are actually lucky to have something like this economic devastation. I know it may sound funny but with this problem there comes a good opportunity. We got to see how the candidates are going to respond to this crisis. As we know in about a month, one of these candidates will have to deal with this problem. I would like to say that even though, McCain nor Obama had my vote, I do have to say that McCain showed a lot of concern and dedication to his country. He suggested that we suspend the presidential debate so that all resources can deal with the problem at hand. And what happens? Why should we cancel it? Isn't more important to talk about something like foreign policy then worry about a possible second economic depression? I appreciate that one of the candidates is more worried about our country than some.
McCain should really attend the presidential debate because it is very important for his campaign. This debate will also help people across the US to define who they are going to vote for. Obama and McCain are going to have a very difficult time on proposing their ideas to stop the financial crisis that we are going thru this time. I think that McCain showed that he is not ready to lead a whole nation when he proposed to delay the FIRST presidential debate. He said that it should be delayed because a final decision had not been made on how to help America come out of the crisis, but if he really is ready to lead America, he should of had a plan of his own or at least some ideas on how to bring America back to the top. I'm glad he will show up because this way many people will know if whomever they choose to vote is really ready to lead one of the most powerful countries in the world. I hope that McCain is ready to debate with Obama and try to win some of the nation's vote. I'm glad that Sen. Obama is ready to bring out his ideas on how to help America, this way even more people will vote for him, they'll see that he is really ready to lead America.
