Both 2008 contenders travel to Lake Forest, Calif. on Saturday to sit down for a talk about faith at Saddleback Church. This is the first time McCain and Obama will appear on the same stage--but this is not a debate. Questions will be posed to each--in separate one hour sessions--by Saddleback's evangelical Pastor Rich Warren. Watch it live on CNN, Fox. Obama goes first--determined by a coin toss.

THE BEST ALWAYS GOES FIRST, WHEN MCCAIN COMES ON
THAT'S A GOOD TIME TO GET A NAP!
I have never known religion to be such an issue. How does this play with separation of church and state. We have taken God out of everything except the oath of office.
FINALLY, SOMEONE HAS MENTIONED CHURCH AND STATE. THANK YOU. WHEN HAS YOUR RELIGION BEEN SUCH AN ISSUE? WE STILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHAT DENOMINATION WE WANT TO BE OR HAS THAT CHANGED TOO? HOPEFULLY BY THE END OF THIS ELECTION IT WOULD HAVE LEFT AN IMPACT ON THE WORLD. WE MUST LEARN SOMETHING FROM EVERY LESSON BEING TAUGHT AND EVERY THING WE READ WHETHER TRUE OR FALSE.

In practice there obviously is no separation of Church and State in the USA. The sight of two "evangelical christians" trying to pander to religious groups is most disturbing. What an odd country. Where would you see this kind of religious politicking outside the Islamic countries, or Ireland, or the Balkans?
NOW MCCAIN AND HIS TEAM ARE MAD AT NBC NEWS!
THEY ARE CRYING OVER SPILLED MILK, THEY KNOW
DEAR JOHN KNEW THE QUESTIONS, THEY HAVE TO PLAY
THE HAND KARL ROVE AND HIS MINIONS HAVE MAPPED OUT
FOR THEM, LOW ROAD POLITICS!
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE DEBATES, HE HAS TO BE OUT
THERE AT THE SAME TIME WITH BARACK OBAMA, OBAMA
WILL CHEW HIM UP AND SPIT HIM OUT!
ALL THE KARL ROVES, AND JOE LIEBERMANS WON'T BE
ABLE TO PUT DEAR JOHN BACK TOGETHER AGAIN!
I KNOW MCCAIN IS A FORMER BOXER AND HE HAS A
TEMPER, BOTH ARE GOING TO COME OUT SOONER OR
LATER, HE IS GOING TO GET TICKED OFF AND PUT HIS
FOOT IN HIS MOUTH!
BARACK OBAMA HAS THAT AFFECT ON DEAR JOHN!

AROUND ON THAT OIL RIG YESTERDAY, WHAT WAS HE
TRYING TO PROVE?
DID ANYBODY TELL HIM THEY JUST DIDN'T SET THAT
RIG UP FOR HIS SAKE, PLEASE HELP DEAR JOHN!
HE NEEDS HELP, BETTER CALL LIEBERMAN AND ROVE!
