RAY NAGIN IS DOING A SUPER JOB IN NEW ORLEANS!
PRAYING FOR NEW ORLEANS TO RETURN TO NORMAL!
Dear Lynn,
While we believe Mr. Nagin has no real leadership skills and find him generally to be of no value in even the most mundane daily management of our city, we do, albeit regretfully, still pay him a salary.
If you see him at the democratic convention, could you please ask him to call home. Currently there’s a large hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico. We realize he STILL has no evacuation plan and and to date has accomplished not one darn iota of rebuilding (though he has spent a good deal of the Federal monies traveling, etc.), it would be nice to have someone to hang in effigy after the next flood.
If our mayor is busy having breakfast or drinks with Ben Affleck or Charlize Theron, please don’t interrupt him. It's understood that his obsession with the media is akin to Paris Hilton, another famewhore coincindentally also famous for DOING NOTHING.
Soooo, as we’ve been waiting for leadership for 4 years, a few more hours won’t matter much at this point. However, it may look better to the national media if he is town.
Thank You,
Kate
New Orleans
PS: If you run into Nagin's friend Congressman Jefferson in Denver, please give him this message, this morning Feds have postponed sentencing for his sisters, brother-in-law, former mistress, business partnetrs, wife? and daughter? etc. AGAIN.
