where people were told to not bash Bush much.
Only Ted Kennedy's inspiring speech and Michelle Obama saved it some. Michelle loves her husband...now...can we start bashing the Republicans. HELLO!
The GOP will gleefully devote FOUR nights to hammering the Obama-Biden ticket.
Hopefully the Clintons can turn this thing around..otherwise McCain will get a bounce out of a Democratic convention.

I was NOT impressed with MO's speech at all and I felt quite offended...AGAIN...this time for being referenced as '18 million cracks in the ceiling' when cracks (in almost ANYTHING) are NOT a 'good thing' to be : (

Also, America caught Bo's St Louis/Kansas gaffe right away...it made the entire spectacle look and feel phony!! Like a REALLY BAD Hollywood Showtime at the Apollo. : o

And lastly, America is getting pretty weary with Bo referring to his family members as 'half'.......THAT is considered to be disrespect and divisive coming from one's own family. I should KNOW, I was twice adopted : )

What about that speech offended you. Even if you didn't like the speech how could you have been offended by it. She was paying respect to Hilary Clinton when she said the 18 million cracks. I think some people just wake up to look for something to complain about. I think you are one of those people.

If he calls himself half why does that offend you. He is not calling anyone in his family that just himself so get over it.

James Carville is not a Democrat. They are all in it just for the money. Because if he was then he would said something against that book his wife published. Barak can't win for loosing. When does attack he gets I thought he was the change candidate and then when he does not he gets the he needs to be tougher. I think he is doing fine just as he is.

Actually, I am probably one of thickest-skinned individuals on the planet, having survived abuse, rape, four heart attacks and breast cancer.

Perhaps you feel offended about my being offended? That would be a personal problem in my humble opinion.

As a twice-over adoptee, I can tell you the simple truth: Calling one's siblings 'halfs' is an open means of 'seperatism' becasue it distinguishes some kind of 'lesser-than' distinction.

Example: I have six sons, four are adopted, whom I also refer to as MY SONS. Period.

Adopted or not, I love them all as my own.

See the difference? If not, seems you are the one with thin-skin.
