There are going to be hundreds of parties during the Democratic convention in Denver; one hot ticket is for "Chicago night" sponsored by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.). They are pictured below as Jake and Elwood in a take-off of the "Blues Brothers." Durbin and Emanuel are each a power house in his own right in their respective chambers; they are also close pals of the presumptive Democratic nominee, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.)

SWEET HOME CHICAGO!
I HOPE DAN AKROYD SHOWS UP!
Is Alice Palmer on the list? No way!
How about Governor Rod Blagojevich, State Senate President Emil Jones, State Senator Rickey Hendon? Hopefully not!
Senator Obama's friends from the past including Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Father Michael Pfleger, Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn? The DNC has bought them a trip on a freighter heading to China that will arrive after November 6th and has no communications devices on board.
Keating Five
Nice job, Pat.
Now how about a list of John McCain's associates, if you REALLY want to scare people?
Hey Phil Smith Jr. Isn't Dan a Canadian? Maybe Ontario is one of the 57 states that Obama is ready to lead. Either way, He would be a great addition to any party. I just hope he brings his private rail car-it rocks!
Pat H...
We know McCain has admitted to paying trolls to go on websites to act like disaffected Hillary supporters, but geez. At least keep things in context.
This is exactly why McCain will lose. I'm surprised you didn't mention The Keating Five or wait, that Cindy McCain was addicted to Percocet and Vicodin, and the fact that she stole the drugs from her own nonprofit medical relief organization. You want to talk about a crazy Pastor.
So, let's talk about McCain's Pastor(s), that's right PLURAL--Hagee and Parsley...
Long story short, stop with your trolling.
go with the people that got you there!! the chicago mob are obama's biggest supporters--front row is the best spot at any show!!!
Hey are they also going to have an Al Capone night. Ought to fit right in with the gangsters like rezko and auchi who financed obama's campaigns. AND HIS MILLION DOLLAR HOME.
TO: Gilpolitics
Cindy McCain was addicted to Percocet and Vicodin but then Barack Obama admits to being addicted to marijuana and cocaine.
Which one is running for President?
HE'S A BLUES BROTHER, YOU EGG-HEAD!
BARACK OBAMA HAS NEVER BEEN ADDICTED TO ANY DRUGS,
STOP COMPARING APPLES TO ORANGES, AND DON'T BRING
UP THE CANDIDATES WIFES, SHOW SOME RESPECT FOR
WOMEN!
READING IS FUNDAMENTAL, THINK BEFORE YOU BLOG!
TO PAT H.
O did marijuana; hmmm, over 20 years ago. Cindy stole her drugs from her 'non-profit organization'. So she is not only an addict but a thief.
When you go to a treatment program for addiction, they don't care what you are addicted to; it's all addiction. So please don't trivialize it with by suggesting her's were somehow less damaging; they are still drugs and she was addicted to them, enough to steal them!
The current occupant of the WH, chicken george, did drugs and alcohol; was even arrested for it and convicted in the late 70s. Yet you all voted him, (a convicted felon) into the WH, so I guess the current AG is right. Not all violations of the law are crimes! At least not to republicans.
But let someone not from your party so much as jay walk! OMG!
AT LEAST HE ADMITS IT...AND WHAT IS MCCAIN ON?
Any chance Rahm will get Obama's senate seat if Obama makes it to the White House?
Way to go Pat H!! Spoken like a true idiot. You republicans are really not so smart, not even a little bit.
Well, it is about the Chicago made, Chicagoan style politician, Obama and his fishy Chicago stuff............
