Over at the Obama national headquarters this morning, Illinois Clinton delegates were given a briefing on the state of the campaign at a session presided over by Illinois State Director Ken Bennet.

National Voter Contact Director Jon Carson--a former Illinois director--presented an overview on the field operation. Illinois Finance Director Jordan Kaplan talked about fund-raising efforts.

The key to success is good communications among all those involved. The Obama campaign appears to practice this principle which is very good to know.

I TOLD YOU GUYS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY WOULD BE
UNIFIED, THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS GOING TO PEAK
AT THE RIGHT TIME AND ALL THE POLLS IN THE WORLD
WILL NOT HELP MCCAIN'S CHANCES TO BE PRESIDENT!
PEOPLE ARE STARVING IN AMERICA, LOSING THEIR
HOMES, LOSING THEIR JOBS, FOOD PRICES ARE UP,
GAS PRICES ARE UP, THE VALUE OF THE DOLLAR IS
SHRINKING, MCCAIN CAN VISIT ALL THE OIL RIGS HE
WANTS, HE CAN'T HELP AMERICA, UNLESS WE PULL OUT
OUT IRAQ, AND STOP INVESTING 261 MILLION DOLLARS
A DAY TO WIN WHAT, ASK MCCAIN DID WE WIN IN
VIETNAM, AND NOW WE TRADE WITH THAT COUNTRY!
THE GOP KNOWS THE TRUTH, THEY JUST DON'T WANT THE
REST OF AMERICA TO KNOW WHAT THEY REALLY KNOW!
OBAMA IS THE BEST MAN FOR THE WHITE HOUSE!

This is about the 100,000 SUNNIS that we paid $300.00 per month to in Anbar province and Bagdad which probably more important than 30,000 troop surge.

Phil's right---there needs to be unification. But putting together a Hillary whip squad to stand in front of any protesting Hillary delegates and surrounding them with Obama signs is
NOT
GOOD
FORM.

If the election was held this month I never would have voted for Obama. I am really disappointed with him since he appointed Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State. The Clinton's were quiet minding their own business. Why didn't he just let them be. This county has had enough of the Clintons.
