"And this is why I love my country," Michelle Obama at the Democratic Convention

DENVER--Michelle Obama on Monday night answered critics who doubted her patriotism because she said last February that with Barack Obama's change campaign, for the first time she is "really proud" of her country. In her speech tonight, she declared, "And this is why I love my country."

GREAT JOB BY MRS. MICHELLE OBAMA!
WHAT A OPENING NIGHT AT THE DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION!

Mrs.Obama was just outstanding! I was so proud of her! They have a beautiful family, I will continue to pray for them everynight!! The highlight of the night! Truly!

I think it was an over the top - attempt to make up for her previous statements in which she was not proud to be an American.

Her well rehearsed speech could win an Academy award for acting & that's all it was.

I see who wears the pants in the Obama family.

Michelle lost her credibility a while back and this speech appears to be more damage control than an accurate reflection of her beliefs.

What's wrong with the media and Americans? We can’t hide behind the bus carrying Obama’s associations.
Where is Reverend Wright? Where’s Jessie Jackson? Where is Sharpton?

Did all of us ignore the fact that Obama mentored with an anti American, radical, racist: Reverend Wright.

This is an introduction to a President?

Could you just imagine if McCain was friends and mentored with the KKK?

Wake up America.

Where is the reporting?

Obama’s past associations is an introduction and a clear picture of Obama's character.

Michelle is a supporter of all of Obama's beliefs.

I wouldn't want to be having lunch with either one of them.

they are both risky and scary to say the least.
