Not putting Hillary on as veep and soon will cost us the election. And he NEVER should have been given the deferential treatment in the primary as he was.
Camp Obama knows there's trouble over the border in Iowa (proof that the Iowa 'win' that catapulted him as far as he went was 'fake).
"Dear (volunteer named here) --
Travel to Iowa Barack's birthday is Monday, August 4th, and you have a unique opportunity to give him something that few other people across the nation can.
You can give your time, energy, and passion by taking a day trip to the crucial general election battleground right next door: Iowa.
This Saturday, August 2nd, join fellow Obama supporters just over the border in Iowa to help build this movement for change.
Obama for America field staff and grassroots organizers are arranging carpools to get everybody there. It will be a fun road trip with a group of people who are committed to this campaign and a brighter future for America.
Sign up today and travel to Iowa with fellow supporters on Saturday, August 2nd:

As you may know, George W. Bush won Iowa in 2004 by less than one percentage point. It was one of only two states in the country to vote "blue" in 2000 and "red" in 2004 -- but if just three voters per precinct had switched their votes, that wouldn't have happened.
That's why one of the best things you can do to help Barack celebrate his birthday is to take a trip to Iowa and grow our movement for change.
It won't take all day -- you'll be back home in time to enjoy your Saturday evening. But those few hours of work will go a long way towards strengthening our position in a crucial general election battleground.
Help build our movement for change by volunteering in Iowa:

We can't do this without you.
Thank you,
Sean Tenner
Obama for America
P.S. -- Our campaign is also looking for interns and community leaders willing to devote the time necessary to organizing large groups to travel to Iowa consistently throughout the General Election. Let us know if you are willing to take your commitment to Barack to the next level:
