isn't it curious that criticisim, now even humor, rattles the campaign of the junior senator from illinois? traditionally the trump card of a self assured campaign is humor. substantive 'attacks' come from the trembling, it's the last resort. perhaps the mccain people are on to that promise of summer which disipates in autumn.political thought/doubt, unlike gardens, are hardly planted in the spring.
perhaps mr. obama's motorcade could shorten, and his rhetoric hold fewer semi-colons. his real opponent is not mr. mccain, but the curse of modernity, yes?

The only fear that I pick-up in the presidential campaign comes from John McCain, the war hero, who believes that he should be crowned president because he has been around so long. McCain and his "low road express" know that they can't win the election based on ideas. They have resorted to distracting the electorate with outright jealously of the natural gifts that Barack Obama possesses. McCain will lose unless he can reach that part of the electorate whom he convince to vote against itself. Unneccesary war, high gasoline prices, less restriction on wealthy lenders, tax breaks for the wealthy, high cost of living prices (food is thru the roof), unsafe goods flowing across our borders, ultra-inflation, poor relations in the world, and a "Country Club Attitude" that we Americans are whiners...is what will continue and get even worse with a McCain presidency. Providing, however, there is someone nearby to remind him who people are. Americans believe or not, when all is said and done by the Bush-McCain low roaders, American are not stupid to vote for the privileged war hero.
