WASHINGTON--The Obama campaign--sending Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) on a fund-raising spree--has him down for three higher dollar events in Chicago on Friday July 11. Write or raise $10,000 for Obama's White House run and you can get a picture of him at the Hyatt on Wacker reception. For the $100 customer, there is a concert at Park West, at Clark, Lincoln and Armitage featuring Jeff Tweedy & Friends and Otis Clay.
Meanwhile, Obama and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) swap out as headliners Thursday in New York for fund-raisers. Clinton appears at an event for Obama; Obama goes to a reception for Clinton's debt retirement fund. And...Clinton hits Chicago on Saturday for a wedding in the family of a high school buddy and to appear at the American Federation of Teachers meeting in the city.

Too bad Rezko can't contribute this time around. He'd be good for ten thousand.
I sent the following email to my senator this evening.
Senator Obama:
I am disgusted by your lack of courage on the FISA bill. It's a disgrace.
You will lose by adopting the tactics of Bill Clinton in the '90s. Moving right in the general election is wrong this time. This election is about change from the Bush presidency. You are damaging your brand.
I have donated on two separate occasions to your campaign. If you vote for the FISA bill tomorrow, I will stop donating to your campaign. This abomination of a bill(and your move to the right in the general campaign) have soured my support of you for the general election. In a change election, have the courage to stand up for what is right.
I had been planning to work for your campaign in the fall. I absolutely will not do it if you vote yes for the FISA bill.
What is the difference between you and John McCain????
