I watched a promotional with the Obama daughters. They are just darling and I am sure everyone will fall in love with them. However, because they are underage and want to please their parents, I think it is unfortunate that Senator and Michelle Obama decided to have them in the interview. I don't mean this in a negative way. The Obama's will have to realize that this is a crazy world we live in and crazy people also watch television. Their lives are going to change and they can't lead the type of carefree life they have been living.
Regarding Senator Obama's 10 year old troussers and worn out belt and shoes, I think Mrs. Obama needs to put a lid on it. Many people can't afford new clothes nowadays since they lost their jobs. Many people have outdated twenty year old clothes. We don't want a fashion plate for President. We want a qualified candidate.
Obama fired off a trial balloon with this one, thinking that if it bombed, he could always say it was a bad idea, never again. Any venue but the voyeurist's transitory celebrity haven, Access Hollywood. might have been moderately acceptable; but welcoming this type of rock star media attention is poor taste I Obama would never be guilty of. My former idol has clay feet: he believes all the hype about his teflondom, and he may have lost more than just my vote because of this undignified cheap stunt. I want a president with a less frivolous turn of mind, with less marissistic ego (and with the stature Obama until now has appeared to have). We had that with Clinton, so where'e the hope of change? Americans deserve better than this.

I think it was a great piece on the Obama's. I enjoyed seeing the girls they are alert and bright. I think the sutle racism is taking over. Never has the discussion regarding Presidential Children been so overblown. I'm Proud of the Obama's and I look forward to visiting them in the White House
Oh, come on. Kids and dogs sell newspapers for a reason.
