Lynn:
As a Canadian watching Barack Obama, Democrat and McCain, Republican campaign for the Presidency of the USA, at the same time that the US financial system appears to be under threat of collapse, I am reminded of a documentary about Harry Truman, Democrat, when he was campaigning for the presidency, and what he said about the financial consequences of electing the Republicans. He predicted what is happening now
to the American financial system if the Republicans were in power. Over the past 30 years, how long has the Republican Party been in power vs the Democrats? PBS ran this two part documentary this past year.
