It is amazing to me how there are people both within the congregation of Trinity and outside of it that don't understand the logic of Obamas move away from that Church. I believe that there should be more understanding of the political implications of staying at the Trinity Church would be for Obama. There are a lot of illogical and unsympathetic people out there who are just looking for some stupid reason to smug Obama's name. I believe he has done the right thing to change.

I'm pretty sure Trinity UCC is relieved to finally be rid of the scandalous bane known as the failed forth estate. The Trinity UCC congregation has weathered far worse storms than Obama's attempts to regulate the Words of faith just to suit his comfortable progression from the Senate into the Oval Office. Trinity already knows that greater and worse tribulation awaits those who follow in the footsteps of the Lord. As disappointed as they might be with the young Senator's succumbing to the pressure of the likes of that idiot Sean Hannity over at Crox Noise, Trinity congregants are neither stirred or shaken by the loss of folks like the Obamas or Oprah Winfrey. Trinity has lost nothing from their moving to worship elsewhere. This, too, will pass.

These pretentious pharisees would pressume to regulate Jesus Himself if there is an ounce of human gain to be gotten from their presumptions.
