The scoop from Washington

Blagojevich will not be at Obama unity meeting with Democratic governors.

From the Obama information ministry.....

"Barack Obama will host an economic discussion with Democratic governors (Friday) at the Chicago History museum. At the meeting, Barack Obama and the governors will discuss working together to reverse the effect of eight years of the Bush economy on state budgets and looking beyond conventional Washington thinking to develop innovative solutions to the economic challenges the American people are facing every day.

From Gov. Blagojevich spokesman Abby Ottenhoff---cutting loose from the governor soon--to Sun-Times Springfield bureau chief David McKinney Thursday afternoon about whether the Rezko tainted Blagojevich will surface at an Obama event ..."he has been invited, but I'm not sure yet if he'll go or if he'll be touring more flooded communities. We should have a better sense in the morning." UPDATE Ottenhoff just phoned to say Blagojevich will not attend.

Another pathetic episode in Obama's campaign. Another story that won't get picked up by the big media outlets. Another episode of "Welcome to My Combine World: A Journey of Hope with Barack Obama." Lynn, your voice remains strong despite great energy being expended to shut down these stories. Thank you for your service to your country! Too bad, tho' ... it would be nice to see a current photo of Obama and Blagojevich in advance of their indictments. Ah well, another day, eh? Maybe a day in court? Maybe.

COME ON ROD, WE NEED YOU AT THE MEETING!

KARL ROVE IS THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO GET INDICTED!

Uh - the difference here is, although the Guv has dis'd most of the state for his entire tenure, as well as Obama, he actually has a reasonable reason this time. Sad he didn't do this (sympathize with those in pain, work with his own party to support state needs) seven years ago - he might be the golden boy, instead of just another hack politician destined for federal prison. Unfortunate the Federal Attorney has to do it, versus State's Attorney.

I wonder if Abbey will feel free to talk about her boss and his relationship with Obama, Rezko, Alsammarae, and Auchi. Why don't you try to interview her now?

The next time Obama and Blagojevich will meet is when they see
each other in federal court when Rezko opens up...............

OR THE NEXT TIME THEY MEET WILL BE AT OBAMA'S INAUGURATION!
HOW DO YOU LIKE THOSE APPLES!

YO! PHIL, LOOKS LIKE ONE OF YOUR APPLES IS BAD!!!
KINDA' MAKES YOU WONDER 'BOUT THE REST OF THE BARREL. HUH????????
