After McCain campaign complains, Obama team rejects comments of Wesley Clark.

WASHINGTON--A few minutes after the McCain conference call concluded--where Barack Obama was called on to reject comments made by retired Gen. Wesley Clark (see blog item below) questioning John McCain's war record and his qualifications to serve as president, this statement from the Obama campaign: "As he's said many times before, Senator Obama honors and respects Senator McCain's service, and of course he rejects yesterday's statement by General Clark," said Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton.

In a press conference in Harrisburg, Pa. McCain said those comments were unfortunate.

How dare Obama “act” like a patriot. He should be embarrassed of his past and his relationships with anti American supporters. My community is totally against this man.

Obama has lied and changed his story repeatedly throughout this primary season.

During the weeks of the Pastor Wright episode Obama displayed a lack of credibility and character. Obam lied repeatedly about his relationship to wright and his church.

Obam lied about what he knew, when he knew it, and majestically said he couldn't disown Wright or his church, any more than he could disown his own grandmother or the entire black community.

The press actually praised his attempt to wriggle out from under the lies by giving a speech in Philadelphia.

However, in the end, Obama disowned both Wright and his church when it became to his political advantage to do so

Obama lied to the people of Ohio about his position on NAFTA, misrepresented his position on Iraq which was revealed by one of his former foreign policy

Obama lied during the Florida and Michigan controversy, running on a campaign slogan that "voices must be heard". Somehow the press minimized Obama doing everything he could to keep the voices in Florida and Michgian from counting. Again Obama was viewed as honorable by spitting on Michigan and Florida voters when it was simply to furhter his own personal ambitions.

The press chose to ignore all this dishonesty and instead of holding Obama accountable, the press perceived him as a “winner”, his dishonesty meant nothing.

Then we had this great line from Obama's Memorial Day speech, something Im sure even any comedian would envy:

"On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors it's unbroken line of fallen heroes, and I see many of them in the audience today..."

Maybe now super delegates are starting to see why the majority of the party voted against him in the first place. Or did we forget that 18 million voters wanted to see Clinton in the White House. An then we wonder why Clinton supporters kept using the term "drinking the Kool-Aid".

Hillary Clinton has not withdrawn her name as a candidate. She hasn't released her delegates. Her campaign is suspended, not over. Obama's actual pledged delegate lead over Clinton is only 1% And lets not forget that Hillary Clinton is the winner of the popular vote. Hopefully, the superdelegates and pledged delegates will wake up before the convention.

Obama as the Democratic Presidential candidate has already become the bad joke that over 18 million people thought he would be. And it should be obvious by now that he is not going to leave anyone laughing when he loses in November.

How many more can Obama reject and denounce:
Reverend Wright
Father Pflaeger
Anton Rezko
Louis Farrakhan
Wesley Clark
William Ayers
These are his friends?
What are we doing Democrats!

Wes Clark did not question John McCains's military service, nor did he question his honor, patriotism, bravery, dedication, nor even his ability to lead the country. His comments relate only to McCain's qualifications in Foreign policy based specifically and solely on that military experience. Would I be qualified to be the CEO of GM because I once survived a car crash? I might well be qualified, but that wouldn't be the reason.

Shame on Obama's campaign for apologizing for stating a truth.

Who in the world does Barack Obama think he is????

Just a few days before Independence Day, Obama and his campaign show their total lack of knowledge of this country and what it means to true Americans! Gen Clark speaks for Obama, make no mistake about it.

The Democratic Party ought to be ashamed that they selected a candidate who doesn't even know what this country stands for.

I truly believe that Barack Obama is American "in name only." He may have been born American, but he wasn't raised American. He doesn't know anything about American values, traditions, symbols or patriotism.

EVERY TIME SOMEONE CLOSE TO OBAMA MAKES A COMMENT SOMEONE DOESN'T
APPROVE OF, IT IS OBAMA'S FAULT!
BARACK OBAMA IS A GROWN MAN, HE SHOULD BE JUDGED BY WHAT HE SAYS
NOT HIS SURROGATES!
WESLEY CLARK DID GIVE US SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT, MCCAIN'S
GRANDFATHER WAS AN ADMIRAL, HIS FATHER WAS AN ADMIRAL, THERE IS A
SAYING THAT THE APPLE DOESN'T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE, WELL IN THIS
CASE THE APPLE FELL WAY AWAY FROM THE TREE, JOHN MCCAIN NEVER
BECAME AN ADMIRAL!
I KNOW HE IS A WAR-HERO, AND I SALUTE HIM FOR THAT, BUT I'M FOR
OBAMA BECAUSE OBAMA IS SMARTER, HE SPEAKS BETTER, HE'S YOUNGER,
AND WE DON'T NEED A THIRD-TERM OF GEORGE W. BUSH!
BARACK OBAMA AND THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY ARE COMING TOGETHER, AND
THE GOP IS VERY WORRIED!

He is working at understanding this country. The problem is that he has been mostly detached from mainstrem America while he pursued his ambitions in the Ivy League and then inner city Chicago. Electing him would be similar to electing a rich Frenchman.

Obama needs to stop being a pu$...., er, uh, screeching cat everytime the media moans over the honest comments of his surrogates. That's how you wind up LOSING from in front!

Let's tell the truth and shame the devil. Had Grampers placed higher than fifth from the bottom of his Naval Academy class, just maybe he would not have been low-hanging, easy-to-nab fruit for the enemy to shoot down and star in anti-America propaganda films. Thus, having been a POW doesn't automatically qualify this dunce to be the most powerful leader in the free world. And, Grampers' milking his having been a POW more fiercely than Rudy 9ui11iani millked being Mayor of New York City that fateful Tuesday in 2001 is not going to change that too soon.

Having not been somehow connected to every GOP scandal since Ike left Office might have helped. That, and a distinguished Senate record that demonstrated Gramps really genuinely was an advocate of the common people. Instead, we have one fifth of the Keating 5 who cheated on his first wife with what has turned out to be a pill-popping, tax evading, recipe pirating shrike who just happens to have access to millions in beer bucks, a huge lobby in America.

What Gramps should have done back in the day was use his Smedley Butler tethers via his Naval Officer dad to join that feckless idiot Donald Rumsfailed as a Washington desk jockey at the Pentacon. It patriotically kept Rummy Dumsfailed out of Korea. Even Dumya had the good sense to go AWOL, obviously not high enough on booze and blow to flagrantly ignore his piloting limitations, particularly in combat situations in war zones outside the simulator. But, not Grampers, no-----------! Grampers, then a young spry Airdale, engaged in a dog fight and lost. He was subsequently captured, and the rest is history.

Now, no one is challenging Gramps' suffering and sacrificing for his country. We are eternally grateful for all that Gramps and every warrior in an American Armed Forces uniform has done and is doing to preserve what is left of our Constitutional pursuit of happiness through the perpetuity of liberty and freedom as we strive to maintain our Democratic Republic. But, none of that alone, in and of itself, qualifies Gramps or anyone else to be the President of the United States of America. Thus, the patriotism of the those citizens who fervently agree with General Clark, who has a distinguished military service record, should not come into question. Patriotism is more than unquestioning fidelity to the GOP talking points while wearing a the mandatory lead and roofie based lapel pin made in the same China who now is about to foreclase on America.

Similarly, that Obama has not served in the Armed Forces does not automatically disqualify his bid for the Presidency. However, if he keeps pitching his surrogates, who are not going to rush to the right of center just to support his campaign capitulating to bums who are never going to support him ever, he's going to join Hillary in the Senate from the losers' circle, come November.
