Lynn makes a very good point here--Clinton and Obama will have little problems 'reconciling' after this campaign--they are professionals, she said.
But it's the supporters who will have more of a problem.
That is true.
Might I suggest that a strong commitment to affirmative action protection for women be affirmed.
The misogyny unleashed by the news media and punditocracy during this campaign must be decried.
Otherwise, yet another generation of bullies (usually male white) will feel empowered and all the observers of this who sit by and let it happen will have been told--it's okay to throw your grandma, the firs twoman veep candidate and the first woman prez candidate under the bus, off her job (numerous threats at Ferraro's law office), and flip her off.
What an improvement to hear the punditocracy acknowledge it''s still a three way race at the end of a week in which Hillary blew Obama's doors off in W.Va but the lapdog media was distracted by a press conference and a rally for Obama.
(In sailing, would they call that getting blown off course? Jeesh.)
Perhaps the punditocracy and the 'news' outfits heard from some folks.
Interesting article about the USA Today ad.

why are you hillery hollers still squawking about mich and florida? she herself and her main guy both said they should not count if they hold early contest! oh yeah that was before she started losing all those delegates. i say split them60-40 in both places for her and be done with it. it is time to get after mcbush and make our country #1 again at home and abroad.
The reason Obama doesn't ask for my vote is that he doesn't want it.
Women, working class, Latin@s, gays, and now the entire Appalachian region -- Donna Brazile and the Obama campaign have all sent the message over and over again that they don't want us in the Party; and that the Obama campaign is more about the Obama movement, and its cash, taking over the Democratic Party than it is about victory in November. Good luck to them.
OBAMA AND DONNA BRAZILE WANT YOU, BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU DON'T
WANT TO COME OVER TO THE WINNING SIDE!
BARACK OBAMA HAS INCLUDED EVERYONE, AND HE DOESN'T MAKE SPEECHES
ASKING YOU FOR MONEY, I BELIEVE I HEARD SOMEONE WEARING A PANTS
SUIT DO THAT BEFORE!
DO YOU KNOW THAT GAS IS 8.45 IN SOME TOWN IN AMERICA!
DO YOU KNOW THAT SENIORS ARE STRUGGLING BECAUSE OF GEORGE W. BUSH!
DO YOU KNOW THAT BARACK OBAMA IS THE NOMINEE OF THE DEMOCRATIC
PARTY!
DO YOU KNOW THAT LAUREL AND HARDY ARE COMING TO CHICAGO TOMORROW,
I MEAN LEIBERMAN AND MCCAIN!
WHO'S ON FIRST, WHATS ON SECOND, I DON'T KNOW IS ON THIRD!
BARACK OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT BEFORE BREADLINES ARE IN EVERY NEIGH-
BORHOOD IN AMERICA!
WE ARE IN A BIND, BUT WE HAVE MR. OBAMA TO FIX IT, GET ON THE
TRAIN, IT'S MOVING RAPIDLY, IT'S COMING AFTER MCCAIN, AND THE
GOP, IT'S A MIGHTY TRAIN! BARACK OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT!
