Clinton's thin lifeline: Who's Who on the Democratic National Committee Rules and Bylaws Committee

WASHINGTON--The weekend meeting of the Democratic National Committee Rules and Bylaws Committee here will ponder the fate of the disputed Michigan and Florida delegates, stripped of their seats at the Denver convention because their states votes early, in violation of party rules. Getting these delegations seated--in a formula favorable to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.)--is crucial to her rationale for staying in the race even though Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) just about has the nomination wrapped up. There's pressure on DNC chairman Howard Dean to broker a deal.

So who is on the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee? One member is former Cook County Assessor Thomas C. Hynes, whose son Dan, is the state comptroller and big Obama supporters. Dan Hynes ran against Obama in the 2004 Democratic Senate primary.

People of Chicago/Illinois, Know Obama will do what ever it takes to be the nominee. All of you are aware of the measures he will take, by his elections in to office in Illinois! It bothers me that the federal government can not or will not make him accountable for his pay and favor political agendas!

This gives us names that mean nothing, the only name that is given with an explaination of who, where and what is the names of Thomans Hynes and his son Dan, which then explains they are supporters of Obama, of course they both were most likely helped get their positions by the same person that "helped" Obama win the Senator spot in IL. "REZKO" How about giving us the same information on all the names listed. I have heard that Hillary has an advantage with the number of people on the committee that support her. Come on Times, don't show bad reporting ethics like CNN, FOX, and the Chicago Tribune. Try to be neutral in your reporting.

the decison was made and agreed to months ago. If you didi't have the powwer to make such a decision, whya make it. Everytime someone a state wishes to step outside the national rules, it's OK?.......why do dyou have rules in the first place. Everyone agreed to the rules, now you you want to change them?

Hopefully these people will decide that it's best that we beat McCain--and that Obama's 'big win' in Iowa over 200 thousand people or so is, well, IRRELEVANT to the big picture of GETTING HABAEUS CORPUS back, getting our troops out of Iraq and getting our country back from the Saudi oil overlords and our Chinese junk and war financeers.

I assume Harold Ickes will be abstaining, since he's a consultant for the Clinton campaign and, therefore, has a conflict of interest?

TRYING TO PULL THE RABBIT OUT OF THE HAT!
HILLARY HOUDINI, I MEAN CLINTON!
MAYBE THE CLINTON'S SHOULD HAVE FOUGHT THE WAR IN IRAQ, BY
THEMSELVES!

WHAT CONFLICT OF INTEREST IN PROTECTING THE PARTY'S SURVIVAL TO BEAT MCCAIN WITH IN THE FALL--tell me?
Hillary has more contacts and more people endeared to her than Obama so now the whining begins.
