Clinton also likes trying to "bowl" over the American people and the Media, and they seem to be getting away with it. Media reports: Mark Penn steps down -- which gives the false impression that he is no longer affiliated with the Clinton campaign. False. It is a disservice of the Media to claim that Mark Penn has been fired or has stepped down or that he will not be affilated with the campaign. Maggie Williams' statement is "After the events of the last few days, Mark Penn has asked to give up his role as Chief Strategist of the Clinton Campaign; Mark, and Penn, Schoen and Berland Associates, Inc. will continue to provide polling and advice to the campaign. " From the following statement it is accurate for the Media to say he has been DEMOTED!

Anyone with any Political smarts and Political savvy, should know that the Clintons are not REALLY getting rid of Penn and that it is just a smoke screen -- he is far too valuable to them and knows WAY too much for them to push him under the bus. He will still be pulling the strings behind that Wizard of Oz Curtin, as they say, doing polling and some advising! And too, he is still on the morning conference calls! This is just another Smoke Screen which some in the Media are complicit in. There are some true reporters like Candy Crowley and Linda Douglas who report this sharade as for what it is -- a minor Demotion, in title only, yet his duties will still be the same. He should step down for Real!

In all fairness. Devote this much space to setting the record straight on the "hospital lie". The facts are now readily available if you choose to balance them with the smear. Or you could just do a forehead slap in '09 when you realize that you contributed to another disasterous administration.
