TO ALL OBAMA SUPPORTERS, DON'T LET THE ENEMY TAKE YOUR EYE OFF
THE PRIZE. UNFORTUNATELY POLITICS CAN GET DOWN AND DIRTY, ONCE
AGAIN IF THE MAN HAD NOT RECEIVED 91% OF THE BLACK VOTE IN
MISSISSIPPI, ALL THIS ABOUT REVEREND WRIGHT, AND REZKO WOULD BE
A MOOT POINT, IF THIS DOESN'T MAKE YOU STAND FOR SOMETHING THEN
YOU WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING, KEEP YOUR HEAD TO THE SKY, GOD IS
BIGGER THAN ALL OF THIS, AND HILLARY CLINTON PLEASE SHOW YOUR TAX
RECORDS UNLESS YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE. GERALDINE FERRARO
YOU MUST BE LOVING THIS NEGATIVITY, BUT LIKE JAMES BROWN SAID, I
RATHER LIVE ON MY FEET, THAN DIE ON MY KNEES.
BARACK OBAMA IS THE RIGHT MAN FOR PRESIDENT!
JUST THINK WHAT THE YOUNGSTERS ARE THINKING, A BLACK MAN THAT WAS
THE HEAD OF THE HARVARD LAW REVUE, AND HE HAS TO DENOUNCE HIS
PASTOR, BECAUSE AMERICA CAN'T HANDLE A BLACK MAN WINNING THE
DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION, AND THEN BECOMING PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED
STATES. AMERICA WHAT ARE YOU SCARED OF?
DO YOU SEE THE DOUBLE STANDARD IN AMERICA, FERRARO CAN SAY WHAT-
EVER SHE WANTS, AND NOT BE REPUTIATED BY HILLARY, THEY DIG UP
OLD SERMONS OF REVEREND WRIGHT, AND BARACK HAS TO DENOUNCE WHAT
HE SAID, AMERICA PLEASE GROW UP, WE HAVE A C STUDENT AS THE CURRENT PRESIDENT, AND BARACK OBAMA ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH? PLEASE!
MAYBE AMERICA DOESN'T DESERVE BARACK OBAMA!

Phil--Hilary and those who think she (or others) have (or had) the best chance against the people who are the TRUE enemies of what those of us who WANT to support Barack--we are not your enemy! It is the knee jerk reaction to support Obama campaign strategists regardless of how silly they are that will bring this campaign to a grinding, sorry halt. Ferraro did not say anything racist if you look at the entire quote. Barack is running as a black man. So what did she say that disputed that? You may have disagreed with her. But to cut her off at the knees like that does not serve democracy, does not serve the things we need to fix:
Like the 3 billion weekly we're flushing down the toilet for big oil's war (Hilary AND Barack keep voting for that, keep IGNORING that to the detrement of OUR chances in the fall). Maybe Barack would be wise to run for Prez 8 years from now, when these things won't need to be such flash points, when he'll have been vetted on all the things a politician has to do to rise to the national level. It's too soon. I wish he'd bowed out when Edwards, Richardson, or Kucinich still had a chance but he did not. I hope he folds into the Clinton campaign to learn how to deal with this stuff. And I hope he and supporters like you will please stop attacking the candidate who NOW has the best chance to beat McCain. that used to be Edwards, and I think we'd all have had a lot more sleep had Barack been HIS veep. Oh well. I hope you won't find this offensive, but for the good of the party, Phil, Barack needs to fold into the Hilary campaign.

Yes we deserve a Barack Obama. We need a Barack Obama. The question I have is "Is main stream America ready for a Barack Obama?" I have followed this campaign carefully and I am not surprised by the release of Rev. Wright's sermons. When Sen. Clinton said she was going to throw the kitchen sink at Sen. Obama, I did not expect the garbage disposal. The pains of the wounds that have been unleashed are unthinkable. This is worse than Katrina. To play with the emotions of African-Americans who live the experience that Rev. Wright speaks of his to tell Sen. Obama and the rest of us to stay in our place. To release this after Sen. Obama won 91% of the African American vote in Mississippi, WHEW! This information has been known by all the campaigns for months!! To ask him to cut his ties with his minister and his church, the ministry that help him find Jesus Christ. I ask all of those who condemn Sen. Obama to answer one question... All those Christians on the talk radio and the right winged media... "What would Jesus do?" Maybe we are not ready for a Barack Obama. WE need and deserve a Barack Obama. WE must continue to say, "YES WE CAN" - Mandela would not have become President of South Africa if the 1% did not continue to sing, whisper and chant AMADELA - Just keep singing YES WE CAN...YES WE CAN... YES WE CAN..

"Obama said Wright’s controversial statements have “pained and angered me,” but urged voters to “judge me not on the basis of what someone else said, but on the basis of who I am and what I believe in; on my values, judgment and experience to be President of the United States.”"

So, even in firing and denouncing Wright, Obama is not satisfied. He cannot resist the temptation to instruct us in how to think about Obama and to shamelessly pitch his candidacy simultaneously. As if firing and denouncing his beloved spiritual father would not be enough, (Obama describes Wright's statements as painful, but not the act of severing him) he must create further distance and self-promote in the midst of what should be a grim personal moment. He climbs back on that high horse and resumes his incessant, high-minded, self-aggrandizing speechmaking.

This is the right decision, but again I think it is a story that has truly been blown out of context!

I am a Christian, Church is a way of fellowship but you never go for his sake! and you may not always agree with every Pastor, but the only reason your worship is for ONE! that is "Our Loving Heavenly Father"

There must be a can of worms about Hilary, but the Voters should see the OBAMA Campaign has not run it like her in the gutter.

It leaves one wondering why Mr. Obama did not address this directly.
It still leaves one wondering why a staffer is attending the Rezko trial.
Mr. Obama initially says 50-60K and now it is as high as 250K.

The troubling aspect of Obama really is speech. He has derided Clinton during the entire campaign...("she is divisive, she is Politics as usual, she is a fear-mongerer, she is a racist,...") all of these comments are reminiscent of the Sermons of his Pastor!

As he wraps himself in the "holier than thou" rhetoric, of running a clean campaign...those that don't support Obama, just don't believe him because he does Not walk his talk...

I don't believe Obama will win the Presidential Election. Not so much that he couldn't have...but more because he was not up front and honest to begin with.

Shame on Obama and his supporters because I do not care if Hillary was behind this or anything else.

The truth is coming out and this guy is running and ducking then blaming the media.

Obama is just like Stroger and the rest of Illinois Boys. Voice of Change! The only change that I see is what is left in my pockets when I have been taxed to death by the Illinois Boys and further taxed by Mr Change himself.

My change will be reduced to pennies!

As I listened to Obama's statements on Rezko and Wright they seem quite reminisent of Alberto Gonzalez testimony before congress "I don't know" and "I don't remember" were often repeated. Obama's actions show a total lack of judgment and his admitting to be "boneheaded" is an understatement; he would have to be brain dead to not know what Rezko and Wright were all about. Let's face it, Obama is a shame, a phoney. Obama's book should have been called "The Audicity of Hype" or how "I Bamboozled America without really trying."
