CHICAGO--- In a serene but tough response, White House hopeful Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), after being punched a few times by rivals Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) and former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) said simply, “I’m just taking it all in.”

Clinton—attacked more aggressively by rivals in the last weeks—said You know, I've noticed in the last few days that a lot of the other campaigns have been using my name a lot. But I'm here because I think we need to change America. And it's not to get in fights with Democrats. I want the Democrats to win. And I want a united Democratic Party..... that will stand against the Republicans.

And she recounted her experience in taking on incoming from the vast right wing conspiracy.

And I will say that, for 15 years, I have stood up against the right-wing machine. And I've come out stronger.
So if you want a winner who knows how to take them on, I'm your girl.

Official attendance at AFL-CIO forum: 17,000.

obama and labor? paleeze, lynn. why not take a look at his relationship with northwestern U. (a non union shop), and his advisors from the soc and af-am dept there. explore that!

A dubious claim. And if you win will we get more NAFTA as we did when you and your husband ran the show

um no. hillary clinton is the one who started all the mudslinging. how is she not trying to get into fights with democrats when she's calling them "naive"?

OK, Hillary, you're my girl.

Now iron my shirts.

Lynn,
Have you ever made one positive comment about obama?
Just wondering...:)

When Hillary said when she's president she'll create all these new manufacturing jobs, not one person in the audience reminded her that her husband pushing through NAFTA, GATT, WTO, and all these Free Trade agreements with Asian nations, is the reason we lost so many manufacturing jobs. Isn't it obvious the media wants her as president?

Also, what was the significants of asking Obama about Barry Bonds breaking the Home Run record? I mean really, is that the most important issue facing America?

The Senator hit the mark. Stay above the club fighter's level. With 48%,she can convey her presidential agenda . leave the sparing to the rest

Clinton rightly recieved cheers for her stance on Democrats to unify against a previously failed republican reign with the Bush administration. We must not address global issue that the United States must be involved with. Global Poverty is killing someone every 3.6 seconds [Borgen Project]. These humanitarian issues need to be solved first and foremost with the next president.
