The Iraq Vote: Illinois Delegation roll calls on two Iraq bills: withdrawal and short-term war funding.

WASHINGTON--The roll call of the Illinois delegation on two Iraq war bills--on pulling out U.S. soldiers from Iraq within nine months and on paying for military operations in Iraq in two installments.

according to the AP.....

VOTE ONE

The 255-171 roll call Thursday by which the House rejected a measure to require the withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from Iraq within nine months.

A yes vote is a vote to pass the measure.

Voting yes were 169 Democrats and two Republicans.

Voting no were 59 Democrats and 196 Republicans.

X denotes those not voting.

The 221-205 roll call Thursday by which the House voted to pay for military operations in Iraq in two installments, the first covering costs only until Aug. 1.

A ``yes'' vote is a vote to pass the bill.

Voting yes were 219 Democrats and 2 Republicans.

Voting no were 10 Democrats and 195 Republicans.

X denotes those not voting.

Present denotes those who voted they were ``present'' at the time of the vote but did not vote yes or no on the issue.

There are 2 vacancies in the 435-member House.
