CHICAGO--Democratic White House hopeful Barack Obama guests on CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" on Monday night. Actress Halle Berry--of "Perfect Stranger" shares the star billing.
After a smashing start--raising $25 million for his presidential bid in three months--Obama heads into the second quarter in a fund-raising sprint. Obama on Wednesday in Chicago headlined an event aimed at lawyers. On Monday, Obama hits New York--Hillary Rodham Clinton country--for a series of closed fund-raisers as well as the Letterman gig.

There is something about one of my Senators being everywhere but here in Illinois, doing nothing but trying to raise money, that is troubling. Would he score any points by saying that he does not feel like he can give his consituents what they deserve, while hustling for cash (and votes) all over the place, while announcing his resignation?
He can run again for the Senate in 2010, yah?

Yes,thank you for posting the senator's schedule. Maybe he should be president, since we never see him in Illinois. The people in other states see him more than his own constituents. By the way, I am still waiting for his office to clarify his amendment to the Bacon-Davis Act. My initial request was in August, 2006. I even emailed his campaign. They did email back that due to the enormous amount of emails they are unable to answer. However, in the same return email, there was a request for a campaign contribution.
