WASHINGTON--Watch for Barack Obama's campaign to hunt for the student vote as college visits and rallies will be a key strategic element of his Democratic primary campaign.
Clearly Obama, the youngest candidate in the Demoratic field, has collegiate appeal. Last Friday, Obama filled a hall at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. at a rally organized mainly on the Internet by an ad hoc group of students. He's working the Facebook crowd.
On a weekend swing as a White House candidate, Obama stumps at Iowa State in Ames; University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of New Hampshire in Durham.
But it is very tough to translate student support to primary votes--each state has rules about registration, absentee voting, etc. to navigate. Still, Obama is staking a claim to the college vote as a voice of the post-baby boomer generation.

Obama needs college students, they are un experienced and dumb. They dont realize how un-electable he really is.
Julio, do you really need to disrespect college students in making your comments? There are a lot of college students out there who are quite bright and working hard to earn their degrees. At the same time, there are quite a few you wonder about how they got to where they are but not in any greater percentage vis-a-vis the general population. Also, before you call someone dumb, try using correct grammar...it's inexperienced vs. unexperienced.

Abraham Lincoln said, "You can fool all of the people some of the time, you can fool some of the people all of the time, but YOU CAN'T FOOL ALL THE PEOPLE ALL THE TIME." I would suggest that Senator Obama think about that very deeply and carefully.
WHAT IS SENATOR OBAMA going to do N-O-W about removing President of Vice Dick Cheney from office before he GETS ANOTHER WAR GOING this time WITH IRAN? The Persian Gulf is being called "The Gulf of Sneezes," when the USS Stennis Carrier Group arrives sometime in mid-late February in the Gulf that makes TWO carrier groups in a very thin crowded area. EVEN A SNEEZE could start a war!!! What is needed is competent action from the US Senate to deal with this, not a bunch of Senatorial Presidential Candidates jockeying with each other continuously as if they were tryin to win the prize on "Queen For A Day!"
The young people deserve a lot better than rhetoric that "sounds good," written by an unending amount of consultants, spin-doctors, pollsters, campaign advisers, and poll-oriented general foolery!!! HOW ABOUT DEALING WITH REALITY? Senator Obama knows exactly what I am talking about as he spoke with a LaRouche Youth Movement Organizer on Capitol Hill just yesterday and knows exactly the crises we are facing. So, talk is cheap, let's see Senator Obama ACT in concert with others to remove Vice-President Dick Cheney and act for a Capital Budget with Massive Infrastructure and Rails, Nuclear Engery, Locks and Dams, all of which are exactly in the Abraham Lincoln tradition of the Republican Party ("internal improvements and a Bank of the United States") and the Franklin Roosevelt tradition in the Democratic Party (FDR created 4 million jobs his first year in office with the TVA, WPA's, etc) That is the standard that Lyndon LaRouche has set for all Presidential Candidates..... (LaRouche IS NOT A CANDIDATE for President) So, let us see some action from Senator Obama, and then WE'LL HAVE SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT!!

Franklin D. Roosevelt's 125th Anniversary is Being Celebrated Around the World. FDR Won F-O-U-R Terms As President of the United States. Cheney is run by British Fabian Forces, such as his wife, Lynne Cheney, who has a PHD on Matthew Arnold of the British Fabian Society. Lyndon LaRouche is an FDR Democrat, as was John F. Kennedy and to a great extent, Lyndon B. Johnson.... That is what will give the Democratic Party and Sen. Obama (or whoever the Democrats nominate) A LANDSLIDE VICTORY!!
