Not one individual is being held responsible for the Mark Foley page scandal. No violation of House rules. No reprimands.

But the House ethics committee found people were "willfully ignorant" of the situation.

This is why hard-nosed DC journalists are so damn necessary and valuable to our nation.

Our representatives in DC seem incapable of holding themselves accountable, so now more than ever we need the press do make them accountable.
